I think it was ACDelco 82191. They're too high and get stuck under the hood.

FYI: I ordere a set of ANCO9719 (97-19) from Rockauto. These are exactly the same as those branded as ACDelco. No visible differences and, more important, same fit.
Can it be that there are differences across the hoods GM built or maybe an alignment issue hood<->windshield?

C4 hood alignment was a major issue from the factory. Look at any number of C4's and you will see a lot of variation in the quality of the alignment. Most noticeable along the front edge of the hood versus the nose fascia. Not too sure about the fore/aft variance, but the left/right variance is pretty bad. I took the time to center mine.
