Re: Caffeine & Octane
Wow! Excellent turnout! That black Z looks incredible! Yellow, then Black (or was it the other way around?) are my two favorite colors. (My least favorite is ... RED. Funny how things work out some times. BUT! The RED cars are faster, so there's that!)

Re: Caffeine & Octane
There was a beautiful 40th ruby car, and an earlier convertible, but that's it for the C4s and I was definitely the only ZR-1 there and I think the only one that had shown up in a long time, if ever. It was just amazing how many people stopped and looked at the engine, and then came up to talk with me. More than I ever had when I brought the Ferrari out. It was just an unbelievable day, absolutely perfect weather, and the crowds were huge. All my pics were taken fairly early, before 8:30. By 9:30 it was hard to take car shots because there were so many people there, just a steady flow.

Already got one! Thanks! It cleans up pretty well, but parked between those two show cars really pointed out how bad my paint looks. 15 years uncovered in a warehouse didn't do it any favors. This summer my brother and I will be giving it a thorough correction, clean and buff, and touch up some of the bad spots. We'll have it looking like new.

Wow, what a turnout, and such an eclectic mix. I especially like your shots of the panel painted Camaro, the gorgeous white 66'/427, and best of all, the rusty redneck Blazer trying to snuggle up to the little british cutie. That one needs some cartoon thought balloons.

Re: Caffeine & Octane
I have to say I LOVED the white C7 with the red interior. Damn I am seriously tempted by that thing, what an incredible car. I wasn't really a fan of the C5 or C6, but the 7 is just amazing in an over-the-top-American-awesome way. That white/red might be my favorite, with a yellow/black right there too. When I retire the Z from daily duty, the C7 will be getting a very careful look.
