Default Sw headers

It's time for headers, getting sw headers just wondering is their different size collectors 2/1-2 ,3".what about converters.if I remove them will your eyes burn from fumes or get high flow cats.I do have flowmaster force cat back 2-1/2 system. Thanks, spring is right around the corner!!

I love the way it sounds with flowmaster force II cat back.quiet at idle and sweet at wot!!.by removing resonator & replace with x pipe & sw headers is it going to be really loud?or keep resonator on.(flowmaster resonator)

Unless you get Stainless Works short headers or the clone OBX shorties, the catalyst will need to be compact as there is only so much room in the trans tunnel. The shorties pretty much locate the collectors where the oem cats resided and will be optimal for cats with all the heat shields and extra room there. Collectors will be 3". I used LS7 cats on mine since they are compact 3" factory cats with plenty of rare earths in it to actually do something.

When I installed my OBX headers, I went with no cats. After even a quick 5-minute drive, I'd return with my clothes reeking of exhaust fumes. (And my car was tuned by Marc, so there was nothing wrong with it.) I'd never do that again without cats. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

On my set of Jeal headers I went with Random Techs Hi Flow cats. For the above reasons and because it was the right thing to do

I plan to get myself a set of SW headers this summer, along with some high flow cats. Was thinking either Random Technologies or the ones SW uses...anyone have any data as to pros or cons to either? Thanks !
