Default Coolant Tank

Does the ZR1 have a special coolant tank? Mine has been leading since I got the car and I would like to replace it. This is the tank with the pressure rated cap.

Hopefully it's the same as a C4 piece.

It's a standard C4 part.

Concur it is a standard C4 tank. Not ZR-1 Specific

Epoxies have changed in the recent years and depending upon the source of the leak at the tank I might investigate the leak further. If it's the neck for the filler cap I believe I've always seen mentioned to replace it BUT with newer technology it may be very repairable if indeed its the bond of the filler neck to the tank. Worth investigating? I'd certainly think so.

Loctite has a marine formula that mentions brass, pipe and all/most composites. It also mentions some "plastics" to avoid and I don't recall the material used for the tank body. The tank may or may not be "branded" with a plastics ID.
