This is true, but apparrently GM recognizes the marketing value in making anniversary & other special models, since they have made so many different ones. I don't get into the statistics, but 245 seems like a very limited run of an anniversary edition, in addition to being an already special car in a very limited year model production. Anyone know production figures for the other anniversary year models for comparison?

Sure, 245 of 448 is the bigger portion, but look at it in terms of 245 by itself as the ZR-1 40th Anniversary special edition. Pretty small number in the grand scheme of things.

Just my 2 cents. I sold mine with 168 miles for $57,000 a few years back. I would hope prices escalate for the ZR-1 in the future. Usually, first year, last year & special edition, original & low mileage bring the premium money first, then the rest follow.

Default Special 'Canadian' destination VIN?

Was Corvette still building the export version in '93? I know there were some small variations in some model years..would/could that drive the price up? There were just a few made, IIRC
