Default Ported vs stock airhorn

Its winter so time for boring posts

I was surprised at some of the difference in widths in some areas....notice the lip is radiused/blended in AC bump is reduced significantly

So Lee, there was enough metal there to take out and not punch through that air channel?

Aside from opening it up to accommodate say 63mm throttle plates, I think simply grinding out the horn a bit could be stopping short of what might be the better approach, i.e., something like the venturi horns on the Webber carbs maybe???



Something I've been thinking about for a while now...



I like the sound of a "cammed" motor too. BUT, I like the surprise factor especially. Whatever pumps up the performance w/o tipping anyone off...heh, heh, heh....
