Default FX3 expectations, general questions

I have a 1991 Z, with no FX3 trouble lights on. How should it feel between he options?
I've read the change should be very noticeable, and heard that only at high speed, I am struggling to see any difference between the settings.

How should the system operate and feel?

2nd post ever!

My experience with FX3 in my 1993 ZR-1 is there is a noticeable difference between the three modes. In tour I notice much more oscillation after going over bumps and less harshness in the cars response to bumps and rough surfaces. Handling is still good in tour, but not as controlled as sport or performance modes. Performance mode is noticeably tighter vehicle control, less bounce and harsher response to rough road surface. In performance mode the handling feels much more controlled and responsive. Sport is in between. My experiences and attempt to quantify.
The best way I found to feel the difference is to drive over the speed humps (not the abrupt ones like in parking lots, the more gently ones that you might find in a neighborhood) in the different modes at the same speed, I find the difference noticeable. Then you will become more aware of the differences on different road surfaces and different driving levels (easy cruising to pushing on a fun winding road). Enjoy your car.

I can only confirm what Brian states. Tour is definitely kinda comfortable, Performance isn't. There's even a clearly noticeable different feeling under hard acceleration.
The differences in damping rate do not just work at higher speed, it's rather the other way around. The faster you get the more your FX3 stiffens up. No matter which setting you are in.

So, if you don't sense a considerable change in in road feel in city driving you should check your system.

That?s what I expected, thank you. I am pretty sure my system is not working at all.

Driving the car hard and fast in corners with demonstrate the differences significantly. Test with a 90 degree corner at 30-35 mph using no brakes.
