Default Serious Question.

I just had the drag radials removed from the CAB and had PS2 installed on all 4 corners. I just tapped the gas pedal and broke the tires loose. I thought these tires were suppose to be great?

You've gotta wait till the stickers wear off...

That is kind of funny. I took the stickers off before they mounted the wheels.

Robert, I'm 353 RWHP. Unless I seriously pop the clutch from a stop, no tire spin. 7K, bang second, very minor spin. -Steve

Jeff, I think you hit it right on the head. I got use to the drag radials. I had the GM dealership in town Road Force Balance the wheels today. When I went to pick up the car I drove it out of the shop gave it a little gas not much and laid a decent patch of rubber on the ground.

I was told by Discount Tire to expect them to slip some until the silicone release agent gets worn off and flung out of the tread. So, I laid a patch in their parking lot. Thats all it took. Nice and stickey, right away!

They gotta have some heat in them to really hook, thus the "burnout"

Okay, as soon as I get away from the house tomorrow I will do a burnout. I do not want my wife to complain about having to buy new tires in a couple of years because I burn the rubber off.
