1990 Restoration, need NOS Rear Bumper. - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Im in the middle of a ground up nut and bolt restoration on a rare 1990 model and would prefer if at all possible, put a new rear bumper on. Ive fixed the usual tears on the rear mounts, but with the money ive spent and all other new body panels i sourced, anew bumper would be ideal.

Anyone have one?

What's rare about it?
I'm wondering if this is the same White '90 with Steel Blue interior that I saw in Miami around January. Supposed 14k mile car, but I know why that car needed to come apart.
I really wanted a white '90 ZR-1, ended up with a well modified, so much fun to drive, I don't care if it's pink ...car.

Ive noticed Kurt that even NOS they do not store well as they are heavy and tend to curl a bit. However I understand your wanting to find the best you can get. GC

Its rare due to the colour combo white / steel blue less than 8 made, and yes, it was Miami car as you know and it does have less than 14,000 miles in fact. It was completley neglected by previous owner.

I only want an NOS bumper, i already have 4 used bumpers in stock and they all warp and wrinkle up and $1100.00 for a used bumper, i had to wipe my monitor off after spitting out my coffee on that one.

So, NOS only on the bumper, will pay TOP $$.

I saw this car in person, and had to pass on the deal after driving down from NY with an enclosed car hauler. It was beyond my capabilities to restore this car in a reasonable time frame. You seem to be much better equipped to handle the job, and I'm happy the car is in better hands now.

I did see a nos rear fascia bumper for sale that kept popping up while I was on the hunt for '90 ZR-1 in Dec-Jan. I have been trying to find that ad for you.

Please keep posting your progress with this car.
