Thanks for the Reply Kevin, funny you mention balancing, we just spent a a fair amount of time trying to track down the cause of a vibration at high speeds, and this loose sensor was the cause. Unknowingly it kept moving after the tires had been balanced and the vibration would return.

I'd like to keep them though if I can fix it. Can I just get a new band or will I need a whole new sensor?

Do you know for a fact that the 'system' actually has been operational in the recent past? It certainly can be repaired/replaced but as has been mentioned there's certainly 'better' more sophisticated systems available.

If the car is a driver I'd think the newer technology much more desired.
