Default LT5 ignition coils

I'm sure it's somewhere on the site and I should know this, but...
Is the correct coil the AC Delco D555? (4 of 'em)
Same as 10467067?
Is 10467067 an old PN?
Any advantage/disadvantage to using an MSD
or similar coil?

Is it D555 or D545? I seem to recall a discussion about these two before, but I can't find it.

The AC Delco catalog calls for D545
http://parts-catalog.acdelco.com/cat...log_search.php

Check amazon - they have the D545 AC Delco coils for under $30 each with free shipping

This string has been kind of left up in the air...
As stated above:
Cross referencing 10467067 (the original PN) comes
up with AC Delco D555
The AC Delco website says D545 when asking about
the 90-95 ZR-1
There's also several coils available from lots of different sources
and manufacturers, which are probably fine, but I'd like to stay
w/Delco. (keeping in mind, they're probably crap today too just like
everything else out there...)

D545 or D555?
Amazon seems to have the best price and they're
both readily available.

Thanks!

I have used MSD coils/6A in my previous Xfire for many years. When I got my first ZR, I did the coil swap to MSD coils and wires at the time I did a porting of the top end. That was nearly 8 years ago, and I have the same MSD coils/wires in the motor today. That's my experience. I still have the OEM coils I took out, which were operational, in case anyone wants a set.
