Thanks for the info. Yes it sounds like it was quite a bit of effort. I'm trying to envision machining the calipers for rotor clearance. If they were stock rotors don't they already clear the calipers?? Sounds like you needed to move wheel outboard to clear the wheel drum as the Shelby's narrow a bit going outward.
Yes, it was quite a task but we made it work. Due to the 18" design of the Shelby's it wasn't much room underneath it. The barrel was pretty small. We didn't use any adapter to fit calipers. If we did use the c4-c6 z06 adapter it would push the calipers up against the barrel making it impossible. We choose to machine down the calipers instead. If you ever seen the c6 z06 front in person you would notice that it have alot of materials. The calipers are very thick in size, square and edgy design. So we decided to go that route and took off the material needed. Take a look at the pic in the previous page, you would notice that my caliper underneath the wheel is much smoother and curvy. The removal of the materials matched the curve of the Shelbys which made it fit.

Should I assume you didn't use the Z06 14" rotors?

So the caliper is sitting lower on the rotor than stock. And that's why u clearanced the inner portion of the caliper. My concern would be weakening of the caliper but sounds like it works.

Are the black centered Shelby's still for sale? Do you have pics of curb rash?
