Question ZR-1 Seat Question

Did the ZR-1 ever come from the factory with Base Seats?

Not Sport Seats ....

Just checking because my buddy advises the Base style seat has more cushion than the Sport style seat.

Thx

No,

but many go to the 94-96 style base seat for comfort. I found I like the 94-96 base but the functions of the sport seats so I had the lower bolsters modified on the base seats from a 94 and now I have base looking seats with sport seats functionality

I'm one that replaced the sport seats on BOTH the 90 and 91 Zs. I lose bolster and lumbar functions, but for me the base seats have always fit me just fine - even on 1000 mile/day trips. Plus the low bolsters makes for much easier getting in and out. I don't miss the functionality a bit.

I use the 90-93 sport seats to tell me I need to lose weight.

I'm with ya on this one. I can blame the jeans or my t-shirts feeling tight on the laundry. I'm pretty sure the ZR-1 didn't go through the wash... so it keeps me honest.

And that's about the ONLY way a ZR-1 is gonna keep a guy honest!

I went with 94-96 Sport seats in mine. They are much better. I got all the stuff to actually make them fully functional (bladders won't work without wiring harness and 94-96 switch panel) just haven't had time to hook all that up. You still have the other adjustments.
