At 8K, it is going to have started accumulating rock chips as well as scrapes on the chin spoiler. I do believe that 2,000 miles v. 8,000 miles makes a sizable difference in price.
The ZR-1s with uber low miles in factory fresh condition, including the chassis, will continue to bring 'good' money. Of course, those that also have factory and dealership docs will bring the most.
I think the 40th on BaT lacked the condition and presentation to hit the big bucks.
