Default Catch can first impressions !!! Plus some gopro footage (first video :) )

Ive only been out for 2 drives.. one for about an hour and included some wot runs. In total maybe less than 60-70 miles since I got her running again with the catch can setup installed. I noticed today under the drain I had a puddle of oil. Possibly a leaking catch can. I have 3 so Ill try replacing it with another one (other 2 were for the valve covers but I ran out of time to fab something up or to route new lines). I turned the twist bottom off and splash.. I don't even know how much it was but at least a mouthful (? ) drained out of the can. I was really surprised to see so much in so little driving although I did do some nice wot blasts in 3rd. I honestly have to say for the price of one of these things.. everyone should have one. Its easily removeable as well. I just cant imagine all this oil getting sucked into the intake.
Heres a link to a little bit of footage.. sort of my first gopro video I threw together with a little blast at the end in mexico. I have an external mic coming so the sound should really improve. The gopro was in the waterproof case inside the car on the harness bar.

Was about -8 Celsius .. And salted roads were relatively clear as it hadn't snowed for over a week. I couldnt get any traction until I rolled on it around 5-6k rpm in 2nd but it wasn't too bad. Didn't have to worry about my tires sliding around making u turns

I sent you a P.M of what WOT really looks like in our cars. And I mean all the way to where there is no more to give.

Hey, I'm late into this topic. Can someone give me a quick explanation for what problem these catch cans are trying to solve? Is there already a thread about it I should go read?

Thanks.

Anyone using a catch can see any difference in their exhaust tips?

OR... sparkplugs OR combustion chambers OR intake valves???? I just recently installed mine, but I can't help but think keeping that oil out of the intake (as much as the LT5s spew) would be a good thing.

I went with the Moroso due to availability locally, and especially the bottom drain tube with release valve. Neat, but pricy tho....
