[QUOTE=Vette73;228137...
Months ago I was at a car show out in Long Island NY....I happen to park mine next to a 96..Car was in showroom condition...After a few hours the owner goes " hey I just noticed the back of your Vette is a lot wider than mine"....I was like dude, you serious?...If there is anything a corvette owner knows is the width of the rear on a C4 ZR1....
[/QUOTE]

Typical of the "great unwashed" and way too many Corvette owners/"experts" and fans....
They don't have a clue!!!!

You mean to tell me he didn't notice where the CHMSL WAS?

Not even close. You look at the Z and you see a basic image,you look at the C7 and its sensory overload. There's just too much to take in. I honestly think the rear of a ZR-1 is one of the best on a Corvette. When you look at the rear of the car you can't see past the bumper where it blends in to the quarters. Me like😁

Wow. 30 years ago. Wow.

They're about 85 years old! 1930 vintage?
Wonder if the C7 will look as good when they're 85?

Yes....Agreed....I'm not saying it because I own a Z.....When you look at the rear of the ZR1 with the wide tread width of the tires,it bears to reason to even the common car person that this is no ordinary Corvette...

Granted the C7 is an awesome looking Machine though....

In my case, the rears are as wide as the Stingray's so th effect is even more pronounced. Oh and my brakes are as big as his. Pretty sure this was a Z51.

The rear wing on this Pirate Racing ZR-1 isn't too bad looking.
