I know the later cars are quite a bit taller than the C4's, but unless you are seated it doesn't show up in standing pictures. Being low and wide looks wide because of the long rectangle type of profile where as the C7 is more square and blocky due to its height. which one is actually wider?

Tough call, but I think that ZO6 is hard to beat.....The tread width alone looks great...

Mike,

The C4 appears diminutive in contrast to the C7. It almost looks like a quaint English sports car in comparison. And this was "just" a Stingray.
The Z06 would be a behemoth. Also, part of the contrast is how simple the C4 looks and busy the C7 is. Not a fan of the stripes, at least not on that color red.
However, of the last 3 generations, the C7 is the one I would trade my ZR for.

When the C4 was introduced I was slow to appreciate its styling & beauty. When the C5 was introduced I was again very slow to appreciate it ... even thought it a bit ugly.

I now have a C4 ZR-1 and a C5 ZO6 and don't wish to part with either of them. I like & appreciate both.

But when the C7 was introduced I was instantly smitten ... I would really like to add one to the collection.

The C4 ZR-1 is 46.3 inches tall. The C6 ZR1 and C7s are 48.6 inches tall. So 2.3 inches taller. How do I know? Had to know it to make sure I could get a lift into my 10 foot tall garage. One 5 foot tall car plus one 4 foot tall car plus a foot for ramp thickness and clearance room. The C4 ZR-1 is 73.1 inches wide, the C6 ZR1 is 75.9 inches wide and interestingly the regular C7 is 73.9 inches wide. C7 Z06 is 77.1 inches wide. Kind of like ours--about 3 inches wider than regular. --Bob

Nice contrast of how styling has changed over the years, I would also love to have a C7 but would not give up my ZR-1..

I'd only want the C7Z. Kinda partial to the wide bodies! Even with the C6, the base model just doesn't do it for me. The wide bodies look so much better!
