I have a new set of FX3 Bilsteins I'm selling for a 91. I paid $890 shipped for the new set I just put on my car,I want $750 shipped for the extra set I have. From what I understand the only difference between the 89-95s is the top gear which is easily replaced.

Anybody looking for parts info don't even bother calling Bilstein, these people don't have a clue as to what they are selling and Juan is completely clueless. I called them 6 months ago looking for the rear replacement bushings. After sending me the wrong bushing twice Juan informs me the part is no longer available. I have the Energy Suspension pushing and it seems to be the right part, got it at DRM.

Bilstein makes bushing that physically fit the shocks. I bought them and they dimensionally fit. Juan advised me that his reference materal did not cross reference the hardnees of the bushings that were stock. The replacement ones I got were not rubber but were on the soft side of poly based on a fingernail test. My orgional rubber bushing although solid were just too deformed. George

I spent 2 months arguing with these people trying to buy replacement bushings. The bushings I have will not fit my shocks. Would like to see what bushings you have.

Below is my order through AJ-USA (AJUSA.COM). Each package contained a pair of sets. One order for the front and the other for the rear.

Physically they fit. I have no way of knowing if the hardness of the bushings was per factory specification, but I have never seen poly bushings advertised as matching factory specification. Jaun at Bilstein said he had no listing for the factory replacement bushings for the FX3 shocks. The bushings did not feel particularly hard, and I feel comfortable putting them under the car - street use.

I also bought new shocks to use. I have several shocks from both '89 and '90 cars. The top cover portions on the original shocks are concave maybe providing a nesting type surface for the original rubber bushings. The replacement shocks all have flat tops. My guess is that it does not matter by looking at the geometry.

George
