Default Power Steering Pump

Those of you that have done motor pulls, do you disconnect and remove the power steering pump or just leave it connected and moved to the side?

Rich,
I removed it with the engine so I could give it a thurough inspection and cleaning. Then filled it with fresh fluid after reinstalling the engine.
Be sure to use a proper tubing wrench when disconnecting the pressure line to the power steering unit.

The AC Compressor and Power Steering Pump lines are left connected when I pull LT5 engines. The AC Compressor and Power Steering Pump are then set aside with the hoses connected being careful not to put too much pressure on the AC solid lines connected to the AC Dryer.

Also............I installed LT5s with SW Headers attached. Makes it very easy to install the Header Bolts.
