Yes! That's what I'm talking about, except mine was not that bad. But, it did cover the entire w/s (faintly tho...).

My 91' has delamination around the edges, and spends most of it's time in the garage.
It's interesting that 90's seem to have less of a problem. Any theories on that?

No but Marc Haibeck says his experience is that the 95s seem to be the most prone to it. Maybe getting just a little sloppy towards the end of production? Mine has just a little around the edges, which he says is one of the best he's seen. Of course #448 is completely delaminated despite being in the NCM all its life. Other 95s I've seen in person or I pictures have had substantial delamination. --Bob

What I immediately noticed was the clarity of the new glass; not just the absence of the typical delamination at the periphery, but clarity was remarkable by comparison - especially when facing the sun.

I suppose there might have been a couple decades of micro scratches (like patina) on the glass, but it wasn't due to not being clean. (I'm fanatical about clean glass; the photographer in me, I guess...).

Just my .02, but unless you are harboring an NCRS candidate, I would recommend to anyone to consider changing out the ZR-1 glass if it is the least bit annoying. I love the (clear) look, and the tinting is perfect (for me). I've not missed that original glass for a friggin' microsecond. LOVE the new 'winder'!

FWIW, YMMV!
Paul,

How much effect, if any, did the new standard window have on the cooling ability of the AC? I'm way beyond original on my car but being in Texas I have to consider the high temp/high humidity conditions and I'd hate to have to start planning road trips around whether my AC can keep up with said conditions.

TTT. Paul, not sure if you saw my question since the notification doesn't seem to be working right.

Sorry, Dave. Didn't see your post.

Can't say on the AC. I drive with the windows down and never used the AC.

Install a camera mount bar behind the seats. Detection both front and rear is better, if you go with a plain windshield instead of the original ZR-1 installed.
