Illinois is a 'have to have a front plate' state.......it sucks. I have been pulled over before and given a warning for not having a front plate. I don't mind though, because the plate covers a hole on my ZR-1. I'm not sure why the hole is there or what purpose its there for. |

I've got one of the ZR-1 splash ones for my Z. Got it off eBay. Kinda rough but I'm sure my shop can smooth it out real nice. Wouldn't mind have one of the AO intakes as well!

When your car left the factory, there was a cover over that. Similar to the one pictured in the first post of this thread, but without the ZR-1. So it was either the cover or a plate.
