Is Mobil 1 5W30 Synthetic High Mileage Oil still an option?

Turns out that Mobil 1 5w30 Synthetic High mileage has 900 ppm of zinc. A little low, but adding a few ounces of ZDDP should put me into range.

It's a top notch German producer (actually not just the brand is German but it's MADE here) and that juice is optimized for engines that require a good chunk of heavy duty lubrication - as ours do.

Yes. And not only in mind but also in my LT5 . When it comes from the container it has a dirty-greyish-worn-oil look which is because of the MoS2 additives. I hesitated to fill my engine (thought I got scammed...) with it and contacted Liqui Moly. They confirmed that it looks how it looks, dirty and old, because of its formula.

It's made to reduce friction particularly in places where the oil is exposed to extreme material pressure. The MoS2 added acts like heavy metals in pre-emission oils do.
