Wonderful! I do so appreciate you two taking me (us) along on your trips!
Glad the "trip fairy" was watching over your tire issue. (Gonna be interesting to know what caused that unusual wear pattern!) See you in a week at Carlisle!!

Let me know, we're around. You're welcome to crash here, we have a vacant apartment over the garage currently. It has it's own bath and kitchen. Or, we can meet on the road for pizza and beer. I have a lift here if you need anything on the car. I've got amsoil if you want to throw an oil change at it. Plenty of Adams stuff if you want to wash it. You name it, we'll make it happen. Steve |

Steve, Thanks for all the offers of help. How about a quick meet up and a photo.
We expect to be near Concord at about 1 PM. Can I call you when we are about 1 hour out? Jim |

Re: ZR-1 Road Trip to Newfoundland & Labrador Canada
Day 25 was our second day in Bar Harbor, at Acadia National Park. We got to the park early to get ahead of the crowds. The morning mist revealed a cruise ship in the distance among the islands:
We drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain, the highest point in the Park with wonderful views in all directions. Hello from the peak: We got another view of the cruise ship in the water near Bar Harbor: Looking north, Schoodic Point, where we were the day before, was visible: Next we visited Sand Beach, one of the few places where there is a sandy coastline. It is a very nice beach, well sheltered by rocky cliffs, and people were enjoying the sand, sun and water: to be continued...... |

Re: ZR-1 Road Trip to Newfoundland & Labrador Canada
We continued around the Park Loop Road, enjoying climbing on the granite rocks on the coast:
In a tidal pool, we found hundreds of small snails: We drove to the southwest part of the island, to Bass Harbor to see a lighthouse. The access to the light was restricted: We found a path down the cliff and climbed out on the rocks for a better angle: We had lunch is a local seafood restaurant in Bass Harbor and watched the boats: to be continued...... |
