Default Interior light relay location

I am in the process of determining why my interior lights will not go off. I will check door and hatch switches, lock switches and position, and the relay that times them out. Where is this interior light relay located?

There are 5 relays all in the same GENERAL location.
They are behind the knee bolster on the passenger side.
There is one group of three which is NOT the grouping that you are looking for.
There is another grouping of two which has the courtesy light relay.
This group is a loose group and is often hidden by ducts and such.
It should be the one of two that is closer to the center of the car.
If you have a pre passenger side airbag car, a 93 or older, removing the glove box will help quite a bit.

Before though, I would check each of the door switches and especially the hatch switch. 2 out of 3 times the problem is a faulty switch, although that could lead to a relay failure.

Thanks Marty,
I shall test the simple first and you could say that those three switches are “wear” items at 30 years old and 66k miles.
I already have the hatch valance removed and need to remove door cards to determine why the electric locks are sluggish.

Marty was correct it was the door switches. The ends of them had been partially broken off. So they were too short and did not push in far enough to disconnect the lights. Simple enough.
