Default Showing off my baby today!

Went to my first cars and coffee in Champaign today, loads of fun for me. Was very surprised at all of the attention and compliments my Z received, especially with all the modern cars she was surrounded by. Feeling pretty sassy right now! [emoji41]

My wife Ami and I try to make the Morris charity shows during the summer. And, until more recently it was only the "ricer" kids who seemed to be saavy, far as what the ZR-1 is and what it represented. But, of late, there seems to be a larger mix of ppl - looking and taking pictures and asking questions. (Could it be b/c of recent articles focusing on the ZR-1 in light of rumors in the car rags discussing DOHC motors for the C8?

I actually didn't take any photos of my own, but you can see them on Facebook: just search for "Champaign Cars and Coffee", then go to the 5/19/2018 event. My girl made it into one of the threads, I'm in the Black hat and T-Shirt (2018 Registry T-Shirt; Gotta represent!).

I probably should really learn to post photos in here, it just seems like a bit of a hassle.
Okay, uploading as attachment is way easier than I thought! No excuses next time!

This C6 ZR-1 was also at the gathering, although I didn't get to meet the owner. There's at least one more of these around here, a white one, that gent is in my Corvette Club, but wasn't at C&C.

That is a beautiful black Beast!! Isn't a good feeling to go to a car show, and be the only Z there lol......I've found that to be true at every show I've gone to. When folks realize what it is, the questions start flowing!

Thanks! The paint seems to be in really good shape. Only 47k miles, so that probably helps.
