Default Additional wire to blower motor control - picture??

I want to do the mod that Haibeck mentions here - running a parallel wire from the battery to the blower motor controller to reduce the voltage drop at the blower:
http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20W...the%20ZR-1.pdf

Does anybody have a picture of what this looks like at the blower motor controller end? Do you simply splice into the existing red wire close to the connector? Or does the connector get repinned in some way?

At the battery (+12 distribution) end, do you use a fuse?

Thanks!

Nobody? Someone must've done this...or had Marc do it for them?

I spliced it on close to the connector and insulated it with heat shrink.

Thanks, Yun! Did you use a fuse at the other end, if so what amperage?

I considered splicing in fusible link but did not. Looking at Charlie?s Z, Marc did not splice in any fuse nor fusible link.

Reading the article and the recommendation from Marc about the 200 amp alternator and going with the 2.6" pulley.....I have a 200 amp on my 94 with the stock pulley which is 2.8" plus depending on how you determine the measurement.....so from what I understand....is that you need to use the 2.6" pulley with a 200 amp alternator.....just need clarification......thanks for any info.....

I believe Yun did the pulley change with the 200 amp alternator. Marc kept my pulley stock and just went with the 200 amp alternator. It makes a good difference in the amount of cold or hot air flowing out the vents. According to Marc, went from 10mph to 14mph!
