Encouraging that it’s over $15k with 4 days to go. Curious to see if it makes it over $20k. Agreed about the “experts” commenting on these auctions.

Reserve not met at $21500.
That‘s a good sign for us!
BaT isn‘t known for allowing
unrealistic reserve prices...

I thought $21.5 was pretty strong money for this car.
From what I could tell there were a lot of unknowns that could easily add several thousand to bring it up to standards that us with the ZR-1 disease would expect.

It was. Here's one that's ripe for the picking:

Possibly a good one. But I doubt it has been "bored out" as the seller says making only 450 HP. Ported maybe, and it has headers, an aftermarket exhaust and intake. It has rather distinct hood stripes and one of LGAFF's Mercruiser VIN plates so it may have been owned by one of our group. I would guess we have some info on this car here at the Registry. Worth a look for someone. -Bob

Agreed, description sucks and is blatantly incorrect. There are some hand written notes that more adequately describe what was done. The price is right for the lousy description.

I think I did the porting on this car, I am trying to remember the gentlemans name, he also collected motorcycles and worked in the oilfields up in Canada.
