Yep I had the cams from these, this is an exercise in fuel economy... I used to have run videos.... check past threads

Cam covers were machined so the cams could be timed without removing the cam cover...

That's pretty cool....

Ok. So you get that engine. But you have to put it in something. What's you're pick? I'm going to score a race car replicas 917 so I can pop the shell and watch people try to figure out what that engine is.

Yep, something like a 917 is about the only thing it could fit, and even that might be too small.

Interestingly, I saw a picture of a 917 next to a Porsche 914. It was shocking to see how small the 917 was.
