That would be unusual for sure.
There are two sources of leaks in that area, which are common.
1.
Oil Pressure Switch. See the left side of the following photo. Remove the wiring connector & look for oil in the connector. If there is oil, replace the switch.
2.
Oil Pump Access Cover (difficult to access)
Photo showing the cover. Located at the very front of the Right side of the Lower Crankcase.
Frequently due to loose bolts,w which can be tightened to stem the leak. If no love from that procedure, remove & replace the gasket.
