Default Re: 1990 Restoration, need NOS Rear Bumper.

I had high hopes when I plucked 10% deposit, and another 5% two weeks afterwards when the smooth talking salesman (that's code for lying snake) called and said he had higher offers on the car..."All it needs is the interior redone, and the fuel tank flushed"...yeah right! And I'm Mary Poppins.
Needless to say, we had a heated exchange once I arrived in Miami and saw the car upon closer inspection, after wasting my dime and time with truck & trailer. He sped off the lot in his BMW when I demanded my deposit. Things got a little deeper thereafter, but I did get my deposit back.
Two other ZR-1 owners paid a visit to that car, one of whom is a police officer.
Hopefully your deal went a lot smoother. It wasn't so much about the car, anything can be fixed with time and money, it was that I asked all the right questions and got lied to over the phone.
