Nuclear Power training then served as a junior officer and Weapons Officer on USS Jack SSN-605, Engineer Officer on USS L Mendel Rivers SSN-686, Executive Officer on USS George Bancroft SSBN-643 Gold Crew, and Commanding Officer on USS Von Steuben SSBN-632 Gold Crew. Developed and led training in Quality Programs in the Atlantic Fleet. Last duty station was at the Pentagon on the Navy Staff, Current Ops and Political-Military affairs. Retired as a Captain in 1996.
