Could it be that one location playing games? I thought ALL of the oil change places had to accept waste oil AND coolant. The place I go does take oil, and has taken coolant in the past. But, then I've known the owner for 14 years now - so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. (That and having 3 cars he services...)

I have plastic 5 gal gas can that I store coolant in until I can dispose of it. Would the city take the time to empty it and leave the can, or would they take can and all on that one Saturday a month???
