Old thread I know, but I just got my new headers (OBX) back from the coaters,( I used local guys that have been doing powder coat of all of my parts including the top end of the engine), it is a very high temperature coating but it is not as good as Jet Coat or Swain, so I am also going to wrap them in DEI Titanium wrap. I would like to see pictures of wrapped headers as I am not sure the way I am going to wrap the runners that are too close together to wrap individually . I was also concerned with heat to the (new) clutch lines and electrical connectors. I currently plan to wrap the headers to the end of the faux resonators only. Any thoughts of additional heat shielding on the tunnel or anywhere else? I did heat insulate the drivers side interior cabin with adhesive heat barrier mats.
