Re: Oil Leak Check / Engine Lift

Yep, Already replaced the oil cooler lines, twice actually. the first replacement lasted about 3K miles then made a big mess. Jerry was very quick to make it right and sent me another set. Apparently...

Oil Leak Check / Engine Lift

I am trying to chase down a few oil drips from my 1990. I have reviewed Marc Haibeck's write up and that seems like a good place to start. Question: there are two references made to "lifting" the...

All of the other DIC lights are working. It seems to run OK. Can't really open it up in my neighborhood. Hopfully it's just the individual indicator.

Re: Mountain Run 2

I hope I can make it this year. The wife doesn't mind an occasional 7k run through a few gears but she is not a big fan of the twisties. I may just have her meet me in BG. We're just down the road in...

Re: Mountain Run 2

Do either of the days include the Cherohala Skyway? If not, you're missing out on a great road. Tellico plains TN to Robinsville NC. Absolutely beautiful drive and allows for somewhat higher speeds....

Re: Installed Corsa's

I installed Corsas with factory cats mid summer and the sound took a little getting used to. The lack of drone is very nice. Ive never had a problem with popping. They sound great when you push the...

Re: So? what did Santa Bring for your Ride?

He brought me a new Flex DA buffer/polisher and all the necessary Adam's products. My arms are sore but she sure is shiny!!! That stuff works great!

Re: Fuel gage acting up.

The thread mentioned above covers how to disassemble and clean the contact and windings of the sending unit which could be the cause of your problem. Mine seemed to get worse and more frequent...

Re: Fuel gage acting up.

I recently had the same problem and found a thread on CF that was very helpful. Search for "Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Repair Tech Article" by Frizlefrak in the C4 section. It has instructions and even...

Re: Targa storage

For garage storage, I use wall brackets that have the padded tubular arms that you can get at the Depot or Lowes and lean back towards the wall. I believe they are for bikes. I can put both tops on...

Re: LED replacement for courtesy lights

I too would be interested in the "kit". After seeing some cars with the upgrades at the Gathering, I am also planning to upgrade the headlights and driving/fog lights. As far as I know, it's all...

[QUOTE=Scrrem;167315]The bladders are a VERY difficult part to find, not many people carry them. I had standing orders with both Corvette Central and Eklers for over 4 months and neither could get...

Re: Drag Racing at BG

I've never had mine on any kind of track and it's close to stock (Marc's chip and a new Corsa system). This is getting very tempting however. What type of safety gear is required? Does the cost go...

Re: Well its finally paid for

Very Nice! Congrats! I've still got a ways to go on my Z. I had an 85 Z51 until last fall. That Z51 is like steering a go-kart! Sweet.

Looking forward to...
