many years ago I had the same problem.
replaced all the hose, change the cap, even changed the tank on the fire wall
nothing fixed it..........
turned out I had broke head gasket......

90 with the 510 package, stock rear end ran 146-147 for four runs that day
as a side note....at the end of the 1/2 mile ....get it to stop...

Shifting is not bad with the 4:11.......normal driving, I treat it like a 2-speed,
I shift one to four ..........stop light......one to four!
If I run it hard than I use all 4 but yes they go by...

Last time one of the ZR2, LS6 cars what for sale, I think it was about $300,000 or so bid up to and it did not sell. It was a 12 car run.
