Re: Bogging after Coasting

Thanks. Will do.

They are from Banski Motorsports: anodized aluminum rear trailing arms, toe rods, and camber rods, all with heim jointed ends.

Re: Bogging after Coasting

I finally had a chance to look at the car today. As I was driving the car around before I had the scanner hooked up the bogging issue was evident. When I got home I took a scan at hot idle to...

Re: Bogging after Coasting

Good points guys. I did check the tps with my tech1. Seems good and it's new but I'll check again to ensure I haven't missed anything. I also put in a new MAT sensor when I first got the car back...

Re: Bogging after Coasting

Looks like he's about 4 hrs 15 mins away. Kind of far. I could do a tunerpro log.

I never had stock Z06 rotors on the car, so I can't compare to those. They're pretty light ( lighter than stock...

Re: Bogging after Coasting

Ok, yep, it is the same. Mine seems to do it every time I get back on the gas though. What injectors do you have?

Re: Bogging after Coasting

Paul,
Your issue does sound similar, but mine never stalls. It just hesitates bad as I tip in the throttle after decel. If I mash the throttle, it'll jolt back to normal, almost like a really bad...

Bogging after Coasting

I'm still having the problem with bogging on throttle after coasting. This started after I had the intake ported and removed the secondaries. It seems to not happen until the car gets hot (fully...

Re: Stainless Works Header Warped

Thank you all for the replies. I will continue on with my install. Then on to the corsa install.

On a side note- I found no less than 12 leaks in my old exhaust on the front cat welds. Also...

Stainless Works Header Warped

I was going to install my new stainless works headers, and as I checked the driver's side header for straightness, I noticed that it was warped by .045" in between #1 and #3. Each port is straight,...

Re: Engine Ticking

OK, so I replaced the O2 sensors with OE type AC Delcos and also tightened the header bolts. Several were slightly loose. This seemed to have helped the problems a lot, but was not a 100% fix. It...

They are new densos. I had the same issue with the old ones that were in there too, but I'm not sure which brand those were.

Re: Engine Ticking

I have Marcs normal BPPAG4 cal with custom settings:
Add fuel for headers
Fuel for cats
Enable anti-backfire mode
Add Fuel for top end porting
Secondaries removed
750 rpm idle
7200 rpm rev...

Re: Engine Ticking

The bog after coasting is back (well, actually, when I thought it was gone, I wasn't off of the throttle enough for it to appear, still have a rough idle as well). It bogs if I let off the throttle...

Re: Engine Ticking

I have not, but I just got a can of the stuff that you can spray into the intake. It has the long straw with the bend in it.

Re: Engine Ticking

OK, so I replaced the throttle stop with a bolt and ran through the procedure you have posted. IAC counts are now at 12, and TPS at .55 volts. The car is more responsive and seems to not have a...

Re: Engine Ticking

The IAC counts at idle are 25, cold open loop. The TPS voltage was at .50, which is weird because I set it at .54. With the engine off and pressing and releasing the throttle it settles at .52 or...

Re: Engine Ticking

Just tried that out- no change. I had the old connector zip tied, but this new Jerry's one is really tight. Checked the pressure regulator vacuum line, that was good. I also took a look at the...

Re: Engine Ticking

No worries - I don't believe it has been discussed, although the map and the hose (plastic) are relatively new. The MAP seems to be reacting correctly on the tech 1. The sensor under the ecm is...

Re: Engine Ticking

All of the pcv parts are new and attached snugly, but there could be a leak somewhere. I'll see if I can find a leak with a homebuilt smoke machine or something.

Re: Engine Ticking

Just a little update:

I ran through the fuel pressure test procedure and was getting almost instant leakdown, so I replaced both pumps. Now I get 52 psi when the pumps are running, which drops...
