Re: When did you change your shocks?

Mine were rebuilt at about 65000. They were leaking and had been for a while.

Re: Plenum Pull Success

There is another one in Saskatoon-a Ruby 93 with low miles. Talked to the guy about a year ago. He says he drives it around the block once a year and it is in the garage the rest of the time. Such a...

Finished my first plenum pull today. Was having intermittent no crank problems so I thought I would pull the starter and check the solenoid. Sure enough the contacts were pretty bad so I put a...

Re: Daytime driving lights

In Canada it is a requirement to have the daytime lights on. When I bought my 91 from the US I put that kit on as it was easier than trying to do it like the factory did for the Canadian export...

Re: The Day Started Great then Went Down-Hill Fast

Sounds a lot like what happened to my daughters VW Beetle this spring. Turned out to be clutch disc grenaded. Clutch fibers everywhere. 250000 miles on the original clutch.

Re: Windshield Tear Offs?

I thought that I read once that someone here has windshields but shipping might be scary. What I did for my car is to put road hazard glass coverage on it and if I ever get a chip or crack I plan on...

Re: Gage Cluster

Sorry no pics. Corvette Central part # 494087. Costs $50.00. Ties into the big harness along the frame rail drivers side. The instructions tell you which wires to tap into. Easy install.

Re: Gage Cluster

When I safetied my 91 last year they required DRL. I used the kit from Corvette Central that turns the signals on. Works good. Only took 10 minutes to install.

Leftover Parts

I just finished reinstalling my rebuilt bilsteins and I have a couple of pieces leftover. They are black rubber pucks with a hole in the middle. I assume that they are bump stops that were supposed...

Re: Which brand of street tires are you running on

I agree. I put these tires on my Z the day I bought it before I had to drive 1200 miles home so I don't have anything to compare to exept the hard, cracked tires that the car came with. I remember...

My Car Has Become Unreliable

After 10 months of flawless performance, I had a no start. Car was warm but had been sitting for about 1 hour. No security light, no solenoid click, nothing when you turn the key. So I tried to...
