What are the widest tires street legal that can fit a ZR-1 (with aftermarket wheels)?

Can't find the information anywhere. I'm not really interested in buying new rims, but I'm curious to know what are the widest tires you've seen on a ZR-1. *Without fender flares*.

By street legal I mean legal tires AND the wheels can't get passed the fenders.

This garbage would be illegal for example, because the wheels are passed the fenders:

Several on this forum have 345s. I'm getting ready to do the same using Z06 wheels. That's a 13.2" tire.

I have Michelin 335x30 18s on 12" wide Shelby Series 1 Wheels. They are perfect. I guess some 345's may fit, but I think they would be too much.

I don't understand.

345s fit on Z06 wheels. I'm taking off 325s. Several others are using 345s.

Would like to replace my Michelins on my stock '90. Fronts are available from Michelin ( 275/40/17) but rear ( 315/35/17) are not . Michelin can supply rear 335/35/17.
Anyone had experience going from 315 to 335 ??
thanks:

A lot of guys here including myself have run 335/35/17 Michelin Pilots with no issues except for a little more traction.

I put the Michelins on the stock 17" rims and they are great tires, albeit not inexpensive. Got mine at Costco with their great service and warranty it was the best local purchase + install deal. Much more traction and, as new tires, a more comfortable ride. Stock size up front and 335s in back. More traction for sure over the (replaced) Sumis that came on the car when purchased.-Bob
