I have 2815 and have been a member since April and that section still has not been repaired.

That the one for sale on the other forums?

It was posted for sale on craigslist a few weeks back for about the same price, then disappeared. Same pictures are being used, so probably same seller.

Not sure there is much info other than what the seller mentioned there: Supposedly the previous owner dropped a screw into the engine while the plenum was off and damaged a piston and a liner. Either the current or previous owner had a '91 LT5 crate engine handy and swapped them out. The plenum from the 90 motor is on the new engine right now due to slight electrical differences between the years.

Looks like a nice car. Price seems very fair to me, maybe even a tad low. Probably worth it to buy the original engine and have it rebuilt to return the car to numbers matching.

Buying it comes with the requirement of posting lots of picture of it here. Not negotiable.

Thank you, and thanks for the information, Yes same car posted on CF but the add states 405 crate motor?, Looks to have 90 cam cover emblems?



Just trying to dot all the Ts before I make a 5000 mile round trip to pick it up.

Turned out to be a very nice car runs out very well I m getting new tires on today. Wish I could post pics here
