Finished the infl fix

What a bear. Once I scraped the crap our of my knuckles getting the 10mm bolt back in on the pass side I thought I was home free. Not so fast, the timing to reset the light with grounding would have turned Ghandi into Hitler. I am glad that is over. BTW, some engineer had his head firmly planted up his butt with this design

I believe he worked on the INFL REST otherwise known as the air bag system.

Get back to me when you disassemble your steering column. There are a lot of things that I find enjoyment and satisfaction doing in the automotive hobby, but some of these repairs fall into the heater core category.

Speaking of which...is the steering knuckle difficult to replace on these cars? I've got a little steering wheel movement when you move it left to right from previous owners using it to pull themselves out of the car.

Is it possibly the pin wearing in the steering column rather than the steering knuckle? Here is a link to Marc Haibeck's website on that subject: http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20W...lumn%20pin.htm --Bob
