Don't use TAT Auto Transport

More details to follow later when I figure out how to post pictures on here. I have a thread started on the other site.
 Paid for a fully enclosed trailer. And car showed up like this. Oil or soda dripped on the car leaving etching in the paint. And also fingerprints all over the car that are etched in as well. At the very least it's going to take a full professional buffing to correct the paint. |

Re: Don't use TAT Auto Transport
Be happy it arrived in one piece. Was it open trailer or enclosed?

Was it scratched? Was it damaged? Was it dirty? Wash it.

Re: Don't use TAT Auto Transport
Yeah, if you trailer a car, it is expected to give it a good cleaning upon arrival. The cars are moved on-off multiple times (unless you pay extra for a straight shot) and cars on the lower level are expected to get oil and grease droppings.
As stated above, clean it good and be happy (ecstatic really) that it arrived in one piece with no scratches. |
Re: Don't use TAT Auto Transport
For obvious reasons I have always shipped cars enclosed and on a one stop basis. Costs a bit more but I always felt it was worth it. --Bob

Re: Don't use TAT Auto Transport
The carrier has a hard-sided fully enclosed trailer, which I paid for. They also have soft-sided 10 car hauler. I got the soft sided carrier with a complete fool for a driver. The company will not respond to my email, texts or return my phone calls

What was the cost to ship the car?

I have used Reliable 6 times only one time Zr1 would not start. With hot shot came off. All cars were clean.
