New to ZR-1s and want to look at some local ones!

I'm a new member located in Seattle and am currently looking to buy a 1993 ZR-1, but haven't ever gotten to look at one in person. Is there anyone in the Seattle area that would be down to give me a tour of their car? I'm a vintage race and classic car mechanic/restorer that works at a high-end shop in Redmond. We work on everything from brass-era Rolls Royce Ghosts, to Detroit iron, to vintage Ferraris. I'm happy to show anyone around the shop if they want to pop by and show off their ZR-1. I'm also happy to meet up anywhere else. Just want to get up close and personal with a ZR-1 (masked of course)!

Glad to have found the registry and excited to join the ranks of ownership of these awesome machines.

Cheers,
Dave

Welcome, Dave, and although my ZR-1 is currently in storage, I'd be up to meet with other owners and bring my Callaway Aerobody out for a meet this spring.

Good luck on the car search and always willing to check out any cars that are local to me, if you need an unbiased opinion on something your are considering.

Welcome Dave and you are in great hands with Scott, he knows his way around a ZR-1 for sure and had advanced training at the Wazoo facilities in MD! Good luck with your search.

Hey Charlie,

Good to hear from you... been talking to my detailer and it's all but certain that I'll be headed back to the MD/DC area this summer. Turning over command here and getting lined up for one of two possible jobs there, so looking forward to catching up with everyone when I get back to the east coast.

Hello Dave. I live in Yakima and would be happy to show you my 1990 z which I purchased in 2012. I drove the car to Bowling Green in 2015 and to Marc Haibeck?s shop in the Chicago area on the way home. I also have a 1959 Corvette 1955 2dr hardtop Chevy, pp 265 3 on tree and OD, and lastly a CTS V, black diamond edition manual trans. All my cars are in mint condition. Would love to show you my fleet if you are ever over here his way.

If you guys - or anyone else in the area - plan a meet-up, please keep me in mind. Any excuse for a drive in western WA works for me, but I wouldn't mind meeting up with some other group members this spring or summer before moving back east.

Hello from the other side of the mountains! I'd love to cruise over to check out the stable sometime. It might have to wait until the spring when the pass thaws out a bit. Or maybe I'll just have to make a trip sooner and bring some chains! Thanks for reaching out, and Arctic, I'll let you know when I plan a trip.
