weatherstripping/interior

Engine, transmission, headers, exhaust, Marc Haibeck chip, top end rebuild done. Time to start on interior/weatherstripping. Who does the group like for components/parts, etc??

Thanks in advance!

Thanks. Heard that they are the best. Tried to navigate their site, but can't pull up anything for ZR1's. Sounds like calling them is the best contact method??

Don't know. I haven't had the time or money to do mine, which are due. Been tied up with a solar project this winter.

Corvette Rubber. I did my Halo, windshield header and both doors as well as the dew wipes. Not hard to do. Just makes sure you get all the old WS off. I used a wire brush bit on my electric drill for the tough stuff. Fun weekend project.

Thanks, David. Ordered tonight. Who does the group like for seat restoration supplies? Lot of variability out there!

Thanks

Re: weatherstripping/interior

Corvette America seems to have good stuff but I like Al Knoch Interiors. It depends on the car and what you need. Standard seats are easy peasy. But if you have a 94-95 with sport seats you're pretty much screwed. On the Sport seats GM glued the leather to the foam so there's no way to replace either one unless you replace both. That's why I like Al Knoch. You still have to buy the whole seat but he will do any color combination you want.
