Front Crank Seal
It appears that the front crank seal is leaking on my 1990 ZR1. I expect this will get expensive if I can even find someone to do it. Not sure I want the neighborhood mechanic doing either.
I am in Huntsville, AL. Any recommendations on where I should take this for repair? |

Re: Front Crank Seal
Not an easy fix.
Engine will have too be raised significantly or removed completely to remove the crank dampener and old seal. Front seals seldom leak. Recommend double checking to confirm leak source before diving in to replace the front seal. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry |

Re: Front Crank Seal
I had the bolt holding the crank pulley come loose and sprayed oil everywhere. I pulled the bolt, sealed the threads with blue locktite and retorqued the bolt.
