Some more pics, yes, it has nitrous system, NO never used, not completely hooked up, 771 rwhp, w/o. I'm going to add a rear spoiler in carbon fiber, along with a rear diffuser, with carbon fiber. Probably some black chrome spider wheels...and maybe...some fuzzy dice.
The color, is Cyber Gray Metallic
I just got offered, alot more than i paid for the car last night.
Bought him, with, 6350 miles in august, now, have 8400 miles. :proud:

Man, that's a good looking car! I will one day get a 09 . How is the maintenance on it? I really don't know (or have even ridden in a later ZR1) are you able to wrench it yourself or is a full size lift just a plain "must have"? Is there room in the engine bay to work? Do you have to send out to shop/dealer much for work/maint ? How is the clear engine cover holding up?

C6s in general are pretty reliable, and the ZR1s probably more so. They also take really well to "light" mods. Since they are forced induction, all you really need is a pulley change and tune to gain some nice power, beyond that ported blower snout, air intake and flex fuel (E85) will give nice gains. For <$5K you can take a stock C6 ZR1 and make 650-700wheel very easily.

I would really be interested in learning more about the C6 and the wrenching of it. While it may be reliable as is the C4 LT5, there are always the things that need to be done. I like knowing I can do most , if not all, myself. Would you say the C6 is "generally" DIY with some help like the registry?
