Here's a commonly used replacement to the Permabond.

You can get it for less. I keep a little on hand for customers in remote areas or those that don't want to chase around town.

Well damn it! I can't get Loctite 518 or Permabond A136. Advanced auto parts said they had 518 and that was a lie. So I asked my Z buddy Lee whats so special about this stuff that just any good gasket seal would'nt work. And he said it's anaerobic. I said what does that mean. He said "HARDENS IN THE ABSENCE OF AIR". So until I get some the only thing I can do right now is re assemble the throttle body and put my injector housings back on.
Once I get started I don't stop until I get it all done. I'll just do what I can right now.

Rick,it's your fualt for living so far from me i have a bunch of it in my garage if you were closer you were more then welcome to it :dontknow:

My freaking garage is like an LT5 parts warehouse :)

Pete Hehehe! Your like one of those guys that has a bomb bunker built under his house hording food and water for the next ten years ready for the Nuclear assault. One of these days I plan to make the 1'000 mile journey up there and hang out with the FBI bunch. I never thought I would ever have a reason to go back to the Chicago area. But that would be a good reason to me. I'm sure I'd have a freaken blast.:hello:
