I may have some OEM BG air for a May 90 build ZR-1. I still have my OE rubber mounted to the OE 90 salad shooters. How much OE air do you need Frank? Is the OE air date coded?:dontknow:
We could do a mid-air transfer....:icon_scra

Frank, make sure you check the BG humidity the day that air was put in those tires. I believe that there is a HP gain with dry air.

Cheap knockoff air from the east? How's the reliability on that? Could you post some pics?
Just wondering in the NCRS rules do you lose more originality points for having changed the air that's NLA than you do for having correct appearing air?
Thanks

You can still find the original stuff but it's "hot". Much of the air going around now is hot air. ;)

You must have recently done a PV (Performance Verification)! They deflate your tires to check the LTPWS then you have to find more OEM air before you go back for the second round flight judging.
4500 point deduction for reproduction air. :jawdrop:
Sorry had to write this!!:razz:
Seriously Frank, you going to have your car judged????:wave:

I have four original tires with NOS air in them. Air can be sold separately, but buyer will have to transfer air from original tires to new tires. Air lost in transfer will be charged at standard rate of $250/cubic foot. Please note that mouth-to-tire transfers are not permitted due to the swine flu epidemic

Hey Jim could you post some pic's ?

LOL, this thread is just too funny!!
I have some NOS air in the spare tire of my ZR-1 I'll sell for the above mentioned "standard rate" of $250/cubic foot. LOL!!
So, does that mean if I compress the air into only 1 cubic inch, it will only cost $20.83? Maybe we should charge "per molecule" to avoid that loophole!
