On the 4th of October, Darrin and I will be doing some ZR-1 maintenance at my garage in Westminster, MD.

We plan to replace the rear spring in Darrin's 1990 ZR-1. And Darrin will help me remove and reinstall the transmission in my 1993 ZR-1 so I can replace the seals on the input shaft.

Everyone is invited to come hang out and/or supervise. :occasion1

We will start at 8:00 AM, but you are welcome to drop by any time.

If you need directions, let me know.

Hello from the isle of St Vincent! Hope you guys have a large gathering of Zs... sorry to miss things but am 'slightly' south of you all :-D Saw the lumbar repair issue... I rebuilt two pumps (look up the DIY I posted...just took the directions from others but added pics) and would make available if needed (obviously not for this GTG)...also make sure to check out the bladders since thet could be shot too.

Have a great time!

Good deal Scott. Hope to see you. We will be starting early on Darrin's rear spring (8:00 am) and it probably won't take too long. Then we will pull my transmission.

Wish I could make it Jim but I'm starting my garage floor project tomorrow. Should have it completed by Monday, then it has to cure for a few days before I can move the cars onto it. Make sure you have someone supervising Darrin :-D:-D !!!

Doesn't that white car need some work done? I think it needs a few more HP.....

Thanks to Darrin for helping pull the transmission on my 1993 and replacing the input shaft seal.

We replaced the rear spring and bushings in Darrin's 1990. The spring was starting to splinter. Easy job!

We removed and reinstalled the rear spring in Scott's 1991 to improve the ride height.

Also, oil change, and plenum paint touch-up. Thanks to SecondChance.

Also, new rear spring bushings on my 1993. Darrin had lots of supervision (Dennis, Scott, and David:

Thank you for being a generous host and sharing the lift.
Nothing like hanging with a bunch of ZR-1 nuts, sharing info, b.s-ing (we olny talk about cars...) and working on parts of cars that was way too daunting alone, minimal hand tools and without a lift.

I followed Scott (91 black) from Jim's house along 27 South to 270 and what a treat! First time I ever saw myself (94 black) from outside, albeit minus CCW 18s, 335s and Corsa tips.
