It was the last of 4 cruise nights for the season [sniff] at Morris last night, and WOW! It was HUGE! There was a wide, WIDE! variety of customs, drag cars, and hotrods, as well as several Vettes of every generation there including 3 ZR-1s! (two of which had Net Registry stickers in the window.)
One Z was red/red 90 with a gold-tinted engine bearing Marc Hiabeck 485 HP decals on the plenum. It was immaculate.
There was a black/black 90 there, and a ruby 93(?). I didn't get to meet any of the owners, as they were taking in the show.
Any Z pilots willing to fess up to being there last night?

That car, or rather, that engine caught my eye at Carlisle.

He also has a 93(?) with like 1000 miles. Saw him last week at a charity show in Elburn for Kane County . He hits a lot of shows with his other two cars also. Great guy if you ever get a chance to talk to him. I told him about the meet in Crown Point but he had plans for Funfest.
I also have seen and talked to a few Z owners at shows most don't associate themselfs with forums or clubs, don't know why :dontknow:
They must loners/rebels.:)

Pete When you can afford to have guys like Mark H. fix and keep your car running in tip top shape all the time and you can afford to have more than one immaculate ZR-1. What is there for you really to discuss on a forum like this other than the next car show your going to. Most of us have seeked out and joined because we don't have allot of money to burn and needed answers so we could do it ourselves. This site is so full of how to help and answers that the above mentioned guy doesn't really have a use for it or ever need to utilize it.
