Alright here we go,
I still cannot find a Vacuum hose assembly. After waiting for some time from several different companies, the response from all of them is "GM discontinued them",... NO SHYT! You dont say?!
I am about to give up on this damn thing. Jesus christ which idiot engineer designed this secondary system,... who gives a damn about fuel economy!! I didnt buy an civic! I want 405hp not 210!!! Damnit I'm at my wits end. For the love of god does anybody know where to find a complete vacuum hose assembly for a 94 zr1. Should/can I just use generic vacuum hose and rig my own assembly up?

Oh and by the way if anybody read my last thread, I ordered the vacuum pump from P&G chevy (www.partszoneonline.com), great price, however when it arrived my heart sank. The damn electrical connector is wrong! EVERYTHING else on this pump looks exactly the same. Is this a model year difference? The original has a weather proof type and the pump I recieved has a two prong T looking connector. Im tempted to just cut the wire, and solder it to the connector and then use some sort of cocking to seal it from the elements, then pop the plenum off and see if i can isolate the leak.

P.S. My buddy just got a '94 Viper for only $25k, took me for a ride and then let me drive it,... Maybe I just forgot how it feels to have the goddamn secondaries working but I think this thing would BLOW the doors off my Z. Holy SHYT!! Has any of you driven a viper? Now thats a supercar. Once I fix my Z, I'll let you all know exactly how they compare to eachother, with some nice pics and maybe even some video. Thanks in advance for any help you can lend!

Yea those Vipars are fast! They have bigger motors & more TQ. On the secondary vac parts, I sent you a message.
I still like the view from under the hood on a Z though. Not too many cars have a look like ours.
I don't see why you can't just graft on the old connector. I mean I'd do that. What could happen if it's done the way you say? It's not like the thing is under water all the time. I don't see a problem with you method & plan. JMHO.

On the vacuum hose assembly, you can't get it from anyone or any where? I don't see why if you can get the correct size hose why you can't do what you propose. I'm not a mechanic so I don't know that I'm correct. Vacuum is vacuum right? Heck I read somewhere that one owner took the trouble to get copper tubing in a size that was close and made his own that way.
